Juvederm Volite contains cross-linked hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is the main component of dermal fillers and is excellent in retaining moisture. With its patented vycross technology, Juvederm Volite is thicker than your average skin booster but liquid enough to be injected directly into the skin.
Is Juvederm® Volite Suitable for Me?
Juvederm Volite is suitable for all types of skin. Even though individuals with dry skin and fine lines do see a greater improvement, it is also recommended for those with good skin quality as a method to preserve their youthful appearance. The face, lips, neck and hands are typical areas that are injected.
Why Juvederm® Volite?
Most traditional skin boosters require an induction phase of 3-4 monthly injections followed by 4-6 monthly maintenance sessions. As for Juvederm Volite, only 1 or 2 injection sessions are required every 6-9 months depending on the initial skin quality.
What can I Expect going into a Session of Juvederm® Volite?
The entire procedure takes approximately over an hour. Anesthetic cream will be applied over the face for a period of 40-45 mins. This minimizes the discomfort during the injection process. Once the face is numb, the anesthetic cream will be washed off and the face properly cleaned using aseptic method.
The injection process itself is relatively comfortable as Juvederm Volite contains anesthetic medication within its product.
Is There Any Downtime?
Minimal bruising is expected after the procedure, however they can be covered up with cosmetics if needed. This could last approximately 2-3 days.
