Carbon Laser Peel

Carbon Laser Peel

Introduction

Carbon or activated charcoals are charcoals that are heated in the presence of gas that cause the charcoal to develop lots of internal spaces. These spaces are used to trap chemicals. They are mainly used during ancient times are used to detoxify and clean any impurities. Many of our grandparents have used them to brush their teeth, remove toxic fumes and to even clean their face with it. This ancient phenomena has come back to live with the presence of charcoal toothbrush, charcoal facial sponges and even charcoal deodorant. We at My Clinic has came out with a proper use of charcoal in our treatment and we name it the carbon peel.

How it works?

The process involves a laser beam focused on the skin that has been covered by a thin layer of carbon. due to it’s dark colour, the laser beam is absorbed. This reaction will cause the skin pores to be minimized and the reason is because of thermal effect. this thermal effect can at the same time produce firming and tightening effect on the skin, hence producing a glow that is evident even after doing it for the first time.
